zhu tou and sha mei spent a quiet valentine's day this yr.
no going out or anything,
but stayed home the whole day,
watching tv.

cos outside sure damn packed with couples,
and the food of cos were more expensive on this festive season.
so they decided to have their regular branch,
and spent the rest of the day watching tv and napping away.

initially sha mei mama wanted to cook,
but due to shortage of ingredients,
the idea did not work.

so zhu tou suggested buying their dinner from Chomp Chomp.
they set off ard 6pm,
they bought their usual hokkien mee, 6 chicken wings, newly-added sotong, 2 popiahs, 2 roti pratas ,mutton and of cos, their favourite orange juice.

in order to gather all the food mentioned,
they waited for about 45 mins,
plus some time waiting for cab.
they reached home more than 1 hour later.

the dinner was filling and nice,
the new candidate,
Sotong was tasty *orhm*

soon, the night ended gradually with 2 pigs lying on the bed,
watching tv again..... :)

zhu tou took leave last thursday,
because he was supposedly going to attend his IPPT.
but due to lack of preparations,
he skipped it once again.
and it was postponed for another time.

so he ended up spending the rest of the day at home,
and bought dinner up for sha mei after she knocked off :)

thursday nite was simple
as sha mei is going to cook for zhu tou a nice dinner,
zhu tou and sha mei went for groceries shopping after their dinner,
they bought all the different ingredients and also some tibits la.
zhu tou spent alot again :(

after they reached home,
they unpacked all the things
and then slowly counted down to zhu tou's birthday.
a few minutes past 12am,
sha mei wished zhu tou Happy Birthday :)

they slept early that nite,
because they planned to go Serangoon to buy zhu tou's famous bee hoon.
and zhu tou already promised sha mei mama
that her breakfast would be on him,
even before she returned home from her rountined swim!

he partial regretted before bedtime,
but he set the alarm clock anyway :)

When the alarm clock went off the next morning,
zhu tou pressed the button but never woke up immediately.
he dozed off again shortly,
but forced himself up again amazingly,
he then woke sha mei up as well.

eventually both of them managed dragged themselves up.
and they took a bus there,
with zhu tou leading the way.

zhu tou misled sha mei to a stall,
which doesnt seemed to be as popular as zhu tou described earlier on.
zhu tou almost 100% think he got the right stall,
but lucky he suggested heading further up to another coffee shop.

and yes!
they found the correct stall~
for they saw the familiar pork chop!!
so they faster go buy 3 packets and headed back home via cab~

the breakfast was nice,
the bee hoon was good, the pork chop was good, everything's tasty!!

after all the munching and swallowing,
zhu tou and sha mei felt the overwhelming tiredness over them.
so they went back to their beds,
sha mei set another alarm clock to wake up around 12pm.
cos they will be going to Jurong Point and IMM :)

they woke up around 12.30pm,
initially they wanna took a bus then mrt to Jurong Point.
but zhu tou said they wont be able to make it back on time
if they were to spend alot of time on travelling.
so he suggested taking a cab down.

they reached Jurong Point after 30 mins' journey.
as they nv been to jurong that area,
they walked walked slowly around the shopping mall.
zhu tou said there isnt much things there,
just that they have all the different fast food and chinese restaurants.

they were shopping halfway
when zhu tou asked sha mei to see downwards,
its her favourite Lai Lai~!!

at last~


oh yeah~


sha mei immediately dragged zhu tou down for some munch,
oh no,
i think its zhu tou who's dragging her down *orhm*

they ordered beef noodles each,
but sha mei ordered a set,
cos it came with an extra dish and her favourite Zhu Zi :)

both of them are not suppose to eat anything before dinner,
as sha mei mama has already warned them while they were out.
erm no,
she only sent the warning sms to zhu tou alone *orhm*



anw zhu tou has always love the Lai Lai beef,
at times he would order extra serving of beef just to satisfy himself :)

after eating,
they continue to walk walk,
but they headed to IMM after a short while,
cos the time seemed to be quite late already.

they took another cab to IMM,
sha mei thought it was near,
but in fact it is not.
another about 10 bucks to IMM from Jurong Pt.

again, they walked walked over the IMM building,
but there isnt much things for them to shop.
Only a giant Daiso,
which they bought alot of japalang things from there,
the most achieving things they bought were 2 massagers,
1 for face and 1 for back.
both of them were playing with it the whole day :)

zhu tou and sha mei headed home ard 4+pm,
they wanted to avoid the sur charge as they taking cab again.
and they also need to get back home in time for sha mei to season the beef *orhm*

ok, so about 4.45pm,
they boarded the cab.
zhu tou spent alot on cab that day,
cos he wants to save time on travelling,
and so sha mei can travel with comforts :)

they managed to reach home around 5.30pm.

sha mei then went on to prepare her dishes downstairs,
while zhu tou watched tv upstairs and secretly took a short nap.

sha mei began to cook around 6.30pm,
she was feeling very excited and kan chiong at the same time.
it was her first time cooking,
and stress was all over her,
she's afraid that the dishes will not turn out well.

and somemore, zhu tou was watching her!!
lucky the dishes did smell nice,
and of cos,
that attracted zhu tou's attention~
*orhm*

after 1 hour of battle inside the kitchen,
all the dishes are finally done, with great pride!!

when all the dishes were up on the dining table,
zhu tou was drooling all the way~
dinner starts when everyone's at the table.

sha mei was waiting for feedbacks anxiously.
and it all turned out to be positive :)
but somehow,
the amount of dishes that night seemed insufficient for the whole family.
even sha mei herself thought that the dishes she made were tasty :)

zhu tou did not eat much that night,
cos the servings were kinda small,
so he doesnt dare to eat alot.

after dinner,
due to some miscommunications going on between sha mei and zhu tou mama,
both of them cooked that night.
when zhu tou mama called when sha mei was cooking,
saying that she cooked,
both of them was surprised.

but luckily zhu tou did not eat much at sha mei's house.
so they went over to zhu tou's house after they finished their first round of dinner.
zhu tou went back to eat his annual birthday mee sua, plus chicken leg.

he was full and his tummy was gigantic!
and its his first time that he said the words "cannot already"
*orhm*
as sha mei cannot stuff anymore,
she ate durians instead.

after the second dinner,
they returned to sha mei's house.

and by the time they finished bathing and all,
its time for birthday cake :)



this cake really zhong kan bu zhong chi~
it looks nice but the taste liked "expired"
for its not fresh or spongy,
overall, it taste quite bad though.

but nevertheless,
zhu tou cut the cake and ate some of its fruits.

and after which,
they slowly countdown to Valentine's day :)

a meaningful birthday for zhu tou and sha mei,
cos sha mei finally cooked!!!!!!
